Blackboard at UNBC

Blackboard is the program that UNBC uses to deliver most distance classes. It can be accessed from most computers that are connected to the internet and have a current Blackboard supported web browser. Some firewall programs can interfere with Blackboard.

To access Blackboard go to http://bce6.unbc.ca. Click on Log in and then enter your username and password as indicated. Your Course Index page will have your name and the date across the top, courses listed down the left hand side and announcements on the right. Courses you are registered for may not show up until the first day of classes. To access a course simply click on the course name.

To make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements for Blackboard there is a browser tune-up available at http://www.Blackboard.com/tuneup which has a list of currently supported browsers and recommended plug-ins.

Note: If you plan on using your employer's computers to access Blackboard you must check with your system administrator to determine if such use is permitted.
